Role of presidential issued identity cards (pids) in alleviating the street vendor’s business challenges in Dar es Salaam City

The focus of the study was to assess role Presidential Issued Identity Cards (PIDs) in alleviating street vendor’s business challenges Dar es Salaam. Specifically, aimed examine influence vending challenges, explore factors inhibiting utilization Vendors IDs cards vendors’ and identify nature (financial, social relation, special) problem that solved by establishment PIDs. conducted Salaam city, where a sample 130 respondents selected. collected primary data using questionnaires. Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) used descriptive multiple regression analysis. found have no significant on reduction vendor challenges. Furthermore, PIDs fails solve numerous problems facing vendors, these are; financial, problems, lack permanent areas. concludes despite provision most vendors are lacking support from appropriate authorities. recommends should target reduce vendors.
